A man runs away from an SUV stopped on the road, under an Argus Lock banner

Argus Lock · Intelligent Deterrence

When the GPS is tampered with, Argus Lock acts.

When it detects a GPS disconnection or tampering, it triggers a protective response that helps prevent the vehicle from being driven.

The problem

Theft gives no warning. Passive systems only watch.

A traditional GPS tells you where the device is, not necessarily where your vehicle is. During a theft attempt, the GPS can be disconnected, removed or tampered with. It may even keep reporting a seemingly valid location that no longer matches the vehicle.

Intruder inside a vehicle

Locating and preventing theft are two different jobs. Argus Lock handles the second. It's the difference between knowing and acting.

How it acts

Three steps, in order.

Hand holding a phone with a location map
01

Locates

Logs the vehicle's position via GPS, like any tracking system.

Gloved driver at the wheel of the moving vehicle
02

Detects

Identifies GPS disconnection or tampering, even when the GPS keeps reporting a location that no longer matches the vehicle.

SUV stopped on the road with the driver's door open
03

Immobilizes

Triggers a protective response that helps prevent the vehicle from being driven. The engine keeps running, and steering and brakes keep working.

The app

Control from your phone.

The Nemesis Connect+ app connects users with their Argus Lock device: active map, vehicle status and control in your hand.

  • Selection of the device installed in the vehicle
  • Vehicle location on the map
  • Visual confirmation of the Argus Lock action
